Hey everyone:
In my book it had started off where all of the men from Connaught and Ulster ( province's of Ireland )all came back from war. Luaine's father "Cuchulainn had went to war and came back and now the whole entire province is unsafe, we learn the history about Luaine's Mother "Emer" and Father "Cuchulainn" and how they found each other and how back in the day Cuchulainn went to battles with other warrior's and had won each time. One night all of the men from Connaught and Ulster had went to "Celthair" where everyone there got poisoned while they where on a 3 day and 3 night feast away from their wifes and children. Luaine ended up that she recevied a raven that was named "Fintan" from Cathbad (Cheif Druid of Ulster) and now she has someone to talk to and take care of. Emer teaches Luaine how to do housekeeping like sewing, cooking ( taught by chefs) and how to store and pick food(chef's and gardener's). She get's sent to school with all boys and a few girls who are becoming warrior's who learn about the history behind being a warrior's.

No I don't think I'd risk my life and become a warrior to defend my province...I'm not the "warrior" type!
ReplyDeleteYes I would become a warrior to defend my province. I would enjoy this because of the they fight, swords, sheilds, maces, and the crazy fighting style. I would love the vigorous physical work involved in the training. Also I like the idea of fighting for your country. It is a patriotic opportunity which we would not get in anywhere in the world these days. I like the idea of hand-to-hand combat not fighting with guns.

I think that i would become warrior, because than i can learn how to fight, and become strong. By becoming a warrior to defend our province, it not only protects the province, but our family, and friends.
ReplyDeleteI know I would become a warrior, because im already in the Canadian Forces. I also know this because after a graduate from College im plaining to go on a tour (go over seas to a war zone). So knowing that I want to do this I would have no problem becoming a warrior to protect my home and the people I care about.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fighter, so I don't think I'd be a warrior. However, if it came down to it, I'd help out with fighting to defend my province/land.
ReplyDeleteI dont think i would, no. Sure its important to defend what you believe in and stuff, but I dont think i would defend my provience and be a warrior.
